Meet the team
Dr Nick White
Nick is an experienced NHS and Independent Sector Medical director as well as a practicing consultant surgeon. He has held 4 consecutive medical director posts for the last 10 years; 3 in the NHS (one each at national, regional and local level) and 1 in the independent healthcare sector. He has a reputation for developing programmes of work, building teams and delivering results.
These have included substantial programmes of Hospital commissioning and development. He has been part of a team that has overseen an NHS Trust progress through a £300m redevelopment at outline, strategic and full business case levels. He helped lead the first round of the NHS Elective Recovery Fund capital bids (£250m) for hospital expansion in the Midlands in 2022. Most recently he has been part of a team completely refurbishing and reopening an existing independent hospital site.
Paul Uppal
Paul has successfully developed many commercial developments through various partnerships for the last 30 years. His ethos through those partnerships has been to transform and rejuvenate spaces to create outstanding environments that make long-lasting impressions.
In other fields, Paul was elected as a Member of Parliament in 2010 and was the UK’s 1st Small Business Commissioner 2017 – 2019. As Small Business Commissioner he championed an ethical approach to the construction supply chain, something he has been passionate about his whole professional life. “Foundations are not just in the buildings we construct, but in the skills that our buildings develop too”
